What is my role?

As a CFP Partner, you can play a key role in transforming the way we serve youth and their families here in Kent County.  If you are invited to a Wraparound Team, you will have a direct role in serving youth and families in a unique way. Wraparound helps the family to identify their strengths and needs and works towards achieving the family’s vision. As a team member, you will help by bringing your experience and ideas to the table while building a relationship with the family. Wraparound gives professionals the opportunity to work alongside the family and other professionals and natural supports in their lives to create a coordinated, family-driven plan. Your role will be to attend meetings, provide your expertise and assist with tasks as needed.

Other ways you can become involved include:

  • participating in CFP workgroups, committees or focus groups
  • donating items to the CFP Family Center
  • leading a family workshop or self care event
  • sharing your knowledge of resources with CFP families
  • helping us market services and/or events

just to name a few!
